Enabler was formed in December of 2009 by Jeff Lohrber, Brian Serzynski, Bubba, and Tom Needham. Guitarist and vocalist Jeff Lohrber (who had previously played drums in Harlots, Today is the Day, Trap Them, etc.) had been demoing songs out with drum machine, and previously had a short lived band called Savior for a Fallen Hero. Brian Serzynski (drums), Bubba (bass), and Tom Needham (guitar) had been playing in Abaddon who had recently broken up. Within weeks, they had formed Enabler and began playing shows around Milwaukee with the likes of Mouth of the Architect, Northless, The Killer, Protestant, etc. In March of 2010, Enabler went into the studio with Shane Hotchstetler at Howl Street Recordings (Get Rad, Call Me Lightning) and recorded “Eden Sank to Grief”. Fuck City will be handling the vinyl release of “Eden Sank to Grief”, and a cassette version is currently available via the band and Halo of Flies. Influences range from old Sepultura, Nasum, Integrity, Rotten Sound, Propagandhi, Buried Alive, etc.
