According to What? is an underground indie rock and Midwest emo band based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Known for their intricate, math-rock influenced guitar melodies and emotive lyrics, the band became a staple of the Milwaukee DIY and basement show scene in the late 2010s. They released their debut EP 'Don't Forget to Flush' in 2018, which was followed by the well-received full-length album 'It's Not a Phase' in 2020.
