Alteith was an underground music project active in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, DIY and experimental scene during the late 1990s. The group was part of a local circle of psychedelic and garage-rock acts that frequently performed at venues such as Thai Joe's. They are most notably documented for performing alongside peer acts like Shiftier, Space, and The Gnomes during the 'Grateful Dead Night' event on September 9, 1999. While their contemporaries in the scene occasionally saw renewed digital activity in the 2020s, Alteith remains a cult figure of the city's late-90s underground consciousness with no widely documented releases or modern activity.
