About

American Sharks is a high-energy power trio known for blending stoner rock fuzz with the speed and aggression of punk. Formed in Austin, Texas, the band consists of Mike Roky Moon (vocals/bass), Nick Cornetti (drums), and Aaron Echegaray (guitar). They gained a cult following in the underground scene for their short, explosive tracks and intense live shows, often sharing stages with bands like GWAR, The Sword, and Red Fang. After a hiatus following their 2019 album '11:11', they returned in 2026 with the album 'Not Dead Yet'.
