About
Axeslasher is a cinematic thrash metal band that combines the aesthetic of 1980s slasher films with aggressive, horror-themed music often referred to as 'pizza-core.' Although the band is primarily associated with the Denver, Colorado metal scene, its founder and frontman, known as 'Professor Pizza' (Justin), originated from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin underground music scene. The band is well-known for their conceptually driven albums like 'The Anthology of Horror' and their high-energy, gore-themed live performances.
