About
Originally formed in 1977 under the name High Voltage, the group rebranded as Baha Men in 1991. Hailing from Nassau, Bahamas, they are best known for their 2000 global hit 'Who Let the Dogs Out?', which won a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording and became a staple in sports stadiums and pop culture. The band is celebrated for modernizing Junkanoo—a traditional Bahamian street-parade music—by fusing its percussive rhythms with contemporary pop, dance, and hip-hop. Throughout their career, they have contributed to numerous major film soundtracks and served as cultural ambassadors for Bahamian music.
