Bar Dust is a Philadelphia-based Celtic punk supergroup and premier tribute to The Pogues. Formed in early 2023, the band features a lineup of veterans from the modern punk and indie scenes, including Tom May (The Menzingers), Sean Huber (Modern Baseball, Steady Hands), Brendan Monahan (Darla), Richie Straub (Steady Hands), Dylan Gallimore (The Lower Aetna), Max Datner, and Wil Schade (Foxtrot & the Get Down). What began as a long-discussed project between May and Huber eventually debuted to a sold-out crowd at Ortlieb's Lounge on St. Patrick's Day. Known for their high-energy live performances that capture the spirit of Shane MacGowan and The Pogues, the band graduated from local tribute status to a touring act, releasing their first studio EP, 'Bar Dust from the Studio, Vol. 1', in early 2025. They are a frequent fixture on regional punk festival lineups and underground concert calendars across the East Coast and Midwest.
