About
Bear Ghost is a prominent independent band that defines its sound as 'Adventure Rock,' characterized by a fusion of theatrical melodies, complex arrangements, and high-energy riffs. Formed around 2013/2014, they gained a reputation for eclectic and quirky songwriting. Their 2016 album Blasterpiece earned 'Album of the Year' from the Phoenix New Times. Their music features whimsical yet dark lyrical themes. Following a 2019 lineup change, the band continued as a trio (Ryan Abel, Andrew Heath, and Myke 'Buttonz' Roa). They have achieved significant streaming success and international tours. As of September 2026, they are releasing their third major studio album, Tiny Hitman.
