Birth Defect

About

Birth Defect was a highly influential band in the Milwaukee underground scene, blending the aggression of hardcore punk with the abrasive textures of industrial noise and sludge. Known for their bleak aesthetic and intense live performances, the group featured members of other notable regional acts like Northless and concentrated on a sound that was both primitive and sonically dense. They released several influential recordings, most notably through Triple-B Records.
