About
Black Sites is a heavy/progressive metal band formed in Chicago in 2015 by guitarist and vocalist Mark Sugar. Drawing inspiration from classic metal acts like Iron Maiden, Queensrÿche, Black Sabbath, and Motörhead, they released their debut album, "In Monochrome," in 2017, followed by "Exile" in 2019 and "Untrue" in 2021. Their music is characterized by melody-laden songs, crushing guitar riffs, and groove aesthetics.
