Blush was an underground shoegaze and dream pop quartet from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that emerged in the city's DIY scene in the late 2010s. The band featured members who were active in other notable local and regional acts, most notably drummer Lauren Grubb (who later gained wider recognition with Slow Pulp). Their sound was characterized by dense, atmospheric guitar layers, reverb-soaked melodies, and ethereal vocals. They are best known for their debut EP, 'Maybe Soon,' which was released in November 2018 and recorded at Milwaukee's 'The Chair' studio. The group was a staple of local venues like the Cactus Club during their tenure, though the project became less active as members relocated or focused on other musical endeavors like Slow Pulp and Brief Candles.
