Bomber & Red
About
Bomber & Red is a northern Americana-folk collaboration rooted in the pine forests of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Formed in 2019 by singer-songwriters Laura Bomber (also of Valley Fox) and Ben 'Red' Lila (formerly of Red Ben and the Missing Miles), the project focuses on soulful, earthy storytelling and powerhouse vocal harmonies. In 2024, the duo expanded into a full four-piece band with the addition of Paul Bannach on upright bass and Sheilagh Dandy Lyon on fiddle. The group is a mainstay of the Wisconsin festival circuit, appearing at Mile of Music, Ice Dance, and the Jackpine Jamboree. Their 2025 release, 'Cerberus Sessions: Bomber and Red – Live at Gibson Music Hall,' showcases their raw, improvisational energy and emotionally resonant original songwriting.
