About
Bre Morrissey is a Chicago-based independent pop artist, songwriter, and vocal producer known for her cinematic soundscapes and vulnerable storytelling. She gained significant regional attention with her 2021 debut album, 'While You’ve Been Gone,' which explored her personal journey through grief and resilience following the loss of her brother. Her music is characterized by a blend of candid, introspective lyrics and genre-fluid production that incorporates elements of R&B, soul, and electronic pop. In 2022, Morrissey traveled to Seoul, South Korea, to collaborate with local producers on her 'Pining (Reimagined)' EP. She released her highly anticipated sophomore album, 'CATHARSIS: THE AWAKENING,' in October 2025.
