Bricktown Sound is a long-running biweekly dance party residency hosted at The Hungry Brain in Chicago. Established around 2016, the event features a rotating roster of DJs—including curator Raven Wright and regular guests like Mark Grusane and Cordell Johnson—focusing on all-vinyl sets that span deep house, disco, soul, funk, and global rhythms. Known for its intimate, inclusive atmosphere and 'good vibes only' policy, it has become a staple of the Chicago underground scene and is consistently covered by the Milwaukee-based music platform Didn't That Hurt (DTH).
