Dana and Alden

About

Dana and Alden McWayne are a brother duo originally from Eugene, Oregon, now based in Brooklyn, New York ([Dana and Alden - Bandcamp](https://danaandalden.bandcamp.com/)). The group features Dana on saxophone and Alden on drums, creating a 'genre-agnostic' sound that blends jazz fusion with indie pop, funk, and soul ([Dana and Alden - Concord](https://concord.com/artist/dana-and-alden)). They gained significant traction through grassroots word-of-mouth and viral success on TikTok and Instagram ([Three Questions With Dana And Alden - Synth History](https://www.synthhistory.com/post/three-questions-with-dana-and-alden)). Their discography includes albums such as 'Quiet Music for Young People' (2023), 'Coyote, You're My Star' (2024), and 'Speedo' (2025), often collaborating with a troupe of multi-instrumentalists and artists like Mei Semones and Marcos Valle ([Dana & Alden - AllMusic](http://allmusic.com/artist/dana-alden-mn0004566923)).
