About
Dead Original is a grunge-infused trio from Chicago, Illinois, formed by Paul Wandtke, a former drummer for the Grammy-nominated metal band Trivium. The band blends grunge, groove power, simple riffs, melodic hooks, and progressive elements, adhering to a 'less is more' philosophy by performing with real instruments and avoiding backing tracks. Their lineup includes Paul Wandtke on guitar and vocals, Benny 'Boomba' Piazza on drums, and Mike Petrasek on bass.
