About

Dicqbeats is the solo project of Quentin Pagtakhan, a digital hardcore and cybergrind artist based in Waldorf, Maryland. Often described by the moniker "a pornstar gone wrong," the project is known for explosive, high-energy live performances that blend elements of punk, metal, noise, and breakcore. Since debuting in 2020 with the release "DICQ-FIL-A," Dicqbeats has become a staple of the DC and Baltimore underground scenes, frequently touring and collaborating with acts like KFC Murder Chicks and Dickgirl. The music is characterized by aggressive, catchy tunes that incorporate video game music, hip-hop, and industrial noise.
