Earl Sweatshirt, born Thebe Neruda Kgositsile on February 24, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American rapper and record producer. He began his career in 2008 under the name Sly Tendencies and later joined the hip-hop collective Odd Future in 2009. Earl gained recognition with his debut mixtape, 'Earl,' released in 2010, and has since released several critically acclaimed albums, including 'Doris' (2013), 'I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside' (2015), and 'Some Rap Songs' (2018).
