End Result was a highly influential experimental and no wave band formed in Chicago in 1979. Known for their unconventional, non-formulaic approach to punk, they were a standout act in the early Chicago underground scene and were famously championed by Steve Albini. Note: There is also a separate, unrelated active crasher crust/hardcore punk band by the same name based in Los Angeles.
