Five Iron Frenzy
About
Five Iron Frenzy is a seminal American ska punk band formed in 1995. Known for their high-energy live performances, sophisticated brass arrangements, and lyrics that pivot between absurdist humor and poignant social commentary, they became pioneers of the Christian ska movement. The band originally disbanded in 2003 after a massive farewell tour, but reunited in 2011 following a record-shattering Kickstarter campaign that demonstrated their enduring cult following. Their discography includes classics like 'Upbeats and Beatdowns' and 'Our Newest Album Ever!', along with modern releases like 2021's 'Until This Shakes Apart'. While hailing from Denver, they remain a significant influence on the independent and underground ska scenes nationwide, including frequent performances in the Milwaukee circuit.
