Founded on the principle of building inclusive third spaces, Goth Barge is a Milwaukee-based collective dedicated to the longevity and health of the alternative community. Since its inception, the collective has transformed from a niche gathering into a premier engine for subcultural events, creating vital social hubs where the underground can thrive outside of the daily grind. Goth Barge specializes in high-concept, immersive experiences that bridge the gap between sound and sight. From the long-running tradition of Goth Prom (est. 2019) to the high-energy chaos of the Blood Rave and the nostalgia-driven Mall Goth nights, the collective focuses on curated atmospheres that honor the history of the scene while pushing it toward its next evolution. Beyond the dance floor, Goth Barge extends its reach into the broader community through events like the Bizarre Bazaar—a curated market for the strange and unusual—and the Spooky Frog Horrifying Book Fair. By prioritizing accessibility and variety, the collective ensures that there is a home for every facet of the alternative lifestyle, whether through music, art, or literature. With a heavy rotation of Darkwave, Industrial, Post-Punk, and EBM, and a signature focus on music video mixing, Goth Barge remains the pulse of the Milwaukee underground.
