About
Haunt is a prolific heavy metal band founded in 2017 by Trevor William Church, originally as a solo project following his work with the doom metal group Beastmaker. Based in Fresno, California, Haunt has become a leading force in the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal (NWOTHM) movement, characterized by melodic guitar harmonies, high-speed riffs, and lyrics exploring themes of mysticism and personal struggle. The band is exceptionally active in the Milwaukee and Wisconsin underground music scenes, frequently headlining shows at venues such as X-Ray Arcade in Cudahy, Club Garibaldi, and The Rave. They are known for an intense release schedule, often putting out multiple full-length albums and EPs within a single year.
