About
High Priors is a Seattle-based power trio formed in late 2021, featuring veterans of the Pacific Northwest music scene from bands such as BOAT, Heiress, Police Teeth, and Racetrack. The lineup consists of Josh Goodman (guitar/vocals), Justin Martinez (drums), and Chris Rasmussen (bass/vocals). Their sound is characterized by a blend of math rock-influenced odd time signatures, heavy metal-inspired guitar work, and melodic choruses. The band played their first live show in late 2022 and has released recordings including the single 'The Smallest Gap' (2024) and the album 'Stacked Decks' (2026). Notably, the artwork for their 'Stacked Decks' release was created by Michael Marchant in Milwaukee, WI.
