"Houses in Motion" is a song by the American rock band Talking Heads, featured on their fourth studio album, *Remain in Light*, released in 1980. The track was composed by David Byrne, Brian Eno, Chris Frantz, Jerry Harrison, and Tina Weymouth, with lyrics by David Byrne. It was produced by Brian Eno and Talking Heads. The song was released as a single in May 1981, with an alternate mix, and peaked at number 50 on the UK Singles Chart. The recording features brass lead played by avant-garde trumpeter Jon Hassell. Talking Heads regularly performed the song live from August 1980 to December 1983, with a recording from November 1980 included on their double live album, *The Name of This Band Is Talking Heads* (1982).
