June Doom is an experimental music project active within the Chicago and Milwaukee DIY underground circuits. Known for a sound characterized by electronic textures and a raw, discordant aesthetic, the artist is a frequent performer at prominent regional venues such as The Burlington, Cafe Mustache, and Reed's Local in Chicago, while maintaining strong ties to the Milwaukee scene through collaborations with local acts like Pooty Tangers and The Last Living Finch. June Doom first gained notable recognition in the underground community with an appearance on the 2022 compilation "Discordance I" released via the Wrathu collective. The project's live performances often blend elements of noise, electronic improvisation, and art-punk, frequently presented under the umbrella of DIY collectives and zines such as Soinso Zine.
