About
Ken Pomeroy is a Cherokee singer-songwriter who has become a leading voice in the Oklahoma music scene. Born in 2002 and raised in Moore, Oklahoma, she began her musical journey at age nine, inspired by the likes of John Denver. By age 13, she was performing professionally in Oklahoma City bars and venues. Her music is characterized by hauntingly emotive vocals, intricate guitar work, and lyrics that often draw upon her indigenous heritage and personal experiences with trauma and healing. Pomeroy gained significant national attention after her music was featured in the FX series 'Reservation Dogs' and the 2024 film 'Twisters'. She has toured extensively with major acts such as Lukas Nelson, Iron & Wine, and John Moreland, and her 2025 album 'Cruel Joke' solidified her status as a rising star in the independent folk landscape.
