About
Lay Downer is a Milwaukee-based swamp rock and garage-punk band known for their gritty, fuzz-drenched sound and high-energy performances. Since emerging in the early 2020s, the group has become a staple of the Milwaukee underground music scene, frequently appearing on bills at neighborhood venues like the Cactus Club and X-Ray Arcade. Their music blends bluesy psychedelic influences with a raw, lo-fi energy characteristic of the Midwest garage rock tradition.
