About
Low-Gain is the moniker of Logan Erickson, an experimental electronic musician from Duluth, Minnesota. With seven years of classical training, Erickson began his musical journey in 1998, focusing on circuit bending and chiptune music. He founded the internet group Benders Anonymous and played a significant role in the Midwest Bent Festival. After a brief hiatus, he returned to the chiptune scene in 2006, creating music using Game Boys and a Kaoss Pad. In 2010, Low-Gain shifted towards analog and modular synthesis, incorporating minimal tech and dub styles into his live performances.
