Luc Ami (often stylized as Lúc Ami) is a prominent Chicago-based drag artist, conceptual performer, and experimental musician known as a "genderqueer alien trying to make it in a human world." A staple of the Chicago underground and queer nightlife scenes, their work blends avant-garde drag storytelling with electronic and ambient soundscapes. They are well-regarded for their hosting of events such as "UNLIMITED" and "QUEERIOD!" and were awarded "Best Conceptual Artist" at the 2023 Gaggys. During the 2020 lockdowns, they released "The Orbital Suite," a three-song ambient music and video sequence, marking their presence as a musical creator within the electronic scene.
