About

Menace of Destruction (MOD), also known as Men of Destruction, is a prominent Hmong musical collective and street gang with a long-standing history in the Milwaukee underground scene. Originally founded in Fresno, California, in 1988, the Milwaukee chapter was established in the mid-1990s. In a musical context, the group is known for 'Hardcore Rap' and 'Milwaukee-style' hip-hop that often explores themes of gang life, street struggle, and Hmong cultural identity and solidarity. The group has maintained a significant digital presence on platforms like SoundClick under the name 'MENACE OF DESTRUCTION,' where they have released numerous tracks documenting the local MOD gang culture and the 'Milwaukee MOD' sound.
