MGMT is an American indie rock and electronic band formed in 2002 by Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser while they were students at Wesleyan University. Originally known as 'The Management', they gained international fame with their 2007 debut album 'Oracular Spectacular', which featured the multi-platinum singles 'Kids', 'Electric Feel', and 'Time to Pretend'. Over the years, the duo has evolved from their synth-pop roots toward more experimental and psychedelic sounds, releasing acclaimed albums such as 'Congratulations' (2010), 'Little Dark Age' (2018), and 'Loss of Life' (2024).
