Mississippi Cactus

About

Mississippi Cactus is a long-standing Milwaukee-based band formed in 1995, led by brothers Mike and Brian Kasprzak. Known for their high-energy, 'in-your-face' live performances and marathon three-hour sets, the group blends roots-based rock n' roll with blues and funk influences. Over their decades-long career, they have been a fixture in the Wisconsin music scene, appearing at legendary venues such as Linneman's and Club Garibaldi, as well as major festivals like Summerfest. While the brothers also perform as 'The Cactus Bros,' a project focused on classic rock and outlaw country, Mississippi Cactus remains their primary vehicle for loud, original rock. The band has toured across the Midwest and the East Coast, maintaining a reputation as seasoned veterans of the regional underground scene.
