Mother of Mercy
About
Mother of Mercy was a metallic hardcore band from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, formed in the spring of 2007. Featuring former members of the band Let Down, they became a staple of the early 2010s hardcore scene with a sound that blended dark, abrasive metallic influences from 90s hardcore and death metal bands like Obituary and Samhain. They gained significant acclaim for their raw energy and dark lyrical themes. After releasing their well-received album 'III' in 2009 through Six Feet Under Records, they signed to the legendary Bridge Nine Records, where they released 'IV: Symptoms of Existence' in 2011. Throughout their career, they toured extensively across North America and Europe, performing at major festivals like This Is Hardcore and Sound and Fury, and sharing stages with acts like Agnostic Front, Title Fight, and Terror.
