Formed in 2015 by founding member Clinton Jacob as a joke, Mr. Phylzzz (pronounced 'Flyzzz') is an ever-changing noise rock duo originally from Cincinnati and now based in Chicago. Signed to the legendary Amphetamine Reptile Records (AmRep), the band is known for creating a massive 'wall of sound' defined by heavy, hooky riffs and melodic yet chaotic vocals. Since their debut, they have released several high-profile albums including 'Penitent Curtis' (2019), 'Cancel Culture Club' (2022), and 'Fat Chance' (2023). Mr. Phylzzz has toured extensively throughout the United States, including high-profile supporting slots for iconic acts like the Melvins and Boris, and remains a fixture in the Midwest underground music circuit with frequent performances in cities like Milwaukee.
