About
Nightbringer is an influential American black metal band formed in 1999 in Parker, Colorado, by Naas Alcameth and Nox Corvus. The project was established as a vessel for the members' interests in occultism, esotericism, and the mysteries of death. While their early sound was rooted in the traditions of second-generation Scandinavian black metal, they have evolved to incorporate complex dissonance and atmospheric synth elements. The band has released several critically acclaimed full-length albums, including 'Death and the Black Work' (2008), 'Hierophany of the Open Grave' (2011), and 'Terra Damnata' (2017), and has performed alongside major scene acts like Watain and Profanatica.
