Ninth Key

About

Ninth Key is a collaborative musical project formed in 2026 by artists Ekoh (Jeff Thompson) and Lø Spirit (Joshua Landry). The duo combines their respective backgrounds in hip-hop and alternative rock to create a sound rooted in the emotional intensity of early-2000s nu metal, featuring massive guitars, cinematic production, and vulnerable, personal storytelling. The band's name is inspired by the concept of skeleton keys, symbolizing a master key to life and achievement, while the number nine in numerology represents creativity, healing, and the completion of cycles. The project aims to bridge the gap between rock and hip-hop, challenging modern listeners to reconnect with authentic human experiences beyond their digital personas.
