About
Pyramid Skeme is an experimental hip-hop artist and music producer based in Birmingham, Alabama. His sound is characterized by a blend of drifting analog synthesis and crunchy percussion, often exploring themes of a dystopian future. He began his musical career while studying Studio Art at the University of Alabama, releasing his first project in 2007 under the moniker Jason L while studying abroad in Osaka, Japan. After a long hiatus, he returned to the studio to create new music reflecting the "retro-futuristic" state of modern society, with releases scheduled through 2025 and 2026.
