Ricky Hil
About
Richard Hilfiger, better known by his stage name Ricky Hil, is an American alternative rapper and singer-songwriter originally from Greenwich, Connecticut. The son of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, Ricky deliberately distanced himself from his family's corporate legacy to become a pioneer in the 'dark melodic' and emo-rap underground. Since his debut in the late 2000s, he has released over 18 mixtapes and studio albums, characterized by raw, melancholic lyrics often centered on themes of addiction, depression, and failed relationships. He is perhaps best known for his 2013 collaboration with The Weeknd on 'Nomads' and his early work with Lil Wayne. Hil has maintained a steady DIY output through his imprint Limosa Nostra, collaborating with other underground mainstays like Lex Luger, Lil Peep, and Ouija Macc.
