About

Surgery Season is a Portland-based experimental music project featuring Wolfgang Black (Wolf Blac) and Jamie Brito (Papi Jalapeño). Formed in 2024, the duo blends hip-hop, emo rap, and shoegaze into a style they describe as 'trans body horror hypo-pop.' The project is active in the underground DIY circuit and has toured the Midwest, including scheduled performances in Milwaukee.
