Swigfoot is a high-energy ska-punk band that became a cornerstone of the Milwaukee underground music scene starting in the late 1990s. Known for their rowdy, horn-driven punk sound and infectious live shows, the band was a regular fixture at Wisconsin venues like The Miramar Theatre and participated in Milwaukee's Summerfest. After an influential run in the early 2000s, the group's legacy was cemented with the 2018 retrospective compilation 'The Worst of Swigfoot.' In 2023, the project was revitalized by veteran members of the Wisconsin ska community, including alumni of Hipster Daddyo & The Handgrenades, and relocated to Tucson, Arizona. Despite the move, they maintain strong ties to their Milwaukee heritage, continuing to perform and release new music that bridges the gap between their Midwest roots and their new Southwest home.
