About
Tape and Tears is a folk-pop-punk duo based out of the Fox Valley in Northern Wisconsin. The project was created by singer-songwriter Gilliana Hope with support from multi-instrumentalist Quiver the Busker. Blending hauntingly honest lyricism with a mix of dirty and delicate vocalizations, the duo embraces a DIY ethic in every aspect of their work. Their sound features a mix of guitar, banjo, ukulele, cajon, and eclectic harmonizations, drawing comparisons to artists like Stick and Poke, Local News Legend, and Toh Kay. They released their debut full-length album, 'Grace of Any Kind,' on February 13, 2026, and actively tour throughout the Midwest.
