About

The Knockaround Band is a high-energy pop-alternative trio based in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 2017 by childhood friends Carleton Koldyke and Julian Stacey, they began writing and performing music together, drawing inspiration from artists like Maroon 5 and Matchbox Twenty. After a brief hiatus, the band relaunched in 2024 with the addition of guitarist Ian Harsh, aiming to bring a fresh twist to the pop-rock scene with their energetic and feel-good music.
