Von is an American black metal band formed in 1987 in O'ahu, Hawaii, and later relocated to San Francisco, California. They are considered one of the pioneering bands of the black metal genre, influencing the second wave of black metal. The band disbanded in 1992 but reunited in 2010 and has since released several albums.
