Wingwalker (often stylized as wingwalker) is an underground noise rock trio based in Chicago that is heavily active in the Milwaukee and wider Midwestern DIY music scenes. Known for an abrasive, angular sound that draws from post-hardcore and late-90s noise rock influences, the band emerged in the mid-2020s. They released their debut EP, "the ten eighty spiral," through the Chicago-based label Black Dice Records in early 2026. The group is characterized by high-energy live performances at prominent underground venues like Milwaukee's Zao MKE and Chicago's Ramova Theatre, often sharing bills with regional peers like Lake Shore Drive and Naomi 10 Million. Their music features frantic guitar work, propulsive rhythms, and lyrics exploring themes of burnout and urban disillusionment.
