About
Wolfmother is an Australian hard rock band formed in 2004. Led by vocalist and guitarist Andrew Stockdale, the group is known for their vintage-inspired sound that draws heavily from 1970s heavy metal and psychedelic rock. They gained international fame with their self-titled debut album in 2005, which featured the hit singles 'Woman' (winning a Grammy Award in 2007) and 'Joker & the Thief'. Despite numerous lineup changes over the years, Stockdale has remained the band's central figure and creative force.
