About
Zander Schloss (born August 7, 1961) is a veteran American musician, actor, and composer based in Los Angeles. He is most widely recognized as the longtime bassist for the seminal punk rock band Circle Jerks, which he joined in 1984, and for his work with The Weirdos and Joe Strummer. Beyond his punk roots, Schloss has had a significant career in film, appearing in cult classics like 'Repo Man' and 'Sid and Nancy'. In recent years, he transitioned into a solo career as a singer-songwriter, releasing his debut solo album 'Song About Songs' in 2022, which showcases a more intimate, folk-influenced side of his musical personality.
