Art of Dying is a Canadian rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, formed in 2004 by lead singer Jonny Hetherington and guitarist Greg Bradley. The duo was soon joined by rhythm guitarist Chris Witoski, bassist Matt Rhode, and drummer Flavio Cirillo. Their music blends elements of post-grunge and alternative metal, characterized by prominent three-part harmonies. In 2006, the band released their self-titled debut album on Thorny Bleeder Records. They gained further recognition with their second album, 'Vices and Virtues,' released in 2011 under Reprise Records. Over the years, Art of Dying has toured extensively, sharing stages with bands like Seether, Stone Sour, and Shinedown. Their discography includes several albums and EPs, with their most recent release, 'Won't Look Back,' in 2024. As of March 2026, Art of Dying remains active, continuing to perform and release new music.
