Blind Baby is a noise rock and experimental quartet formed in 2023 in the Bloomington-Normal (BloNo) area of Illinois. The band consists of members Adan Luciano (guitar), Jack Green (bass), Eli Talbott (guitar), and Logan Noble (drums). Taking their name from the 2003 Les Rallizes Dénudés bootleg album 'Blind Baby Has Its Mother's Eyes,' the group's sound is characterized by a blend of lurching noise rock, 90s grunge influences like Unwound, and occasional bossa nova rhythms. They have become a fixture of the Midwestern underground circuit, frequently performing at DIY venues in Milwaukee and Chicago. The band is notable for their staunch DIY ethic and explicit rejection of major streaming platforms in favor of physical media and Bandcamp.
