About
CHRONIC is a contemporary hardcore punk band originating from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin DIY underground scene. Formed around 2022, the group delivers a raw, primitive sound heavily influenced by 1980s D-beat and traditional hardcore. They gained local recognition with their debut release, "Demo 2022," which featured aggressive tracks such as "Dead End" and "World of Lies." The band is a frequent performer at Milwaukee underground staples like the X-Ray Arcade and the Cactus Club, contributing to the city's reputation for high-intensity, unpolished punk music. Their aesthetic and sonic approach are rooted in the anti-commercial traditions of the Midwest hardcore community.
