Death Pose is a heavy-as-shit band from Chicago, IL, formed in 2022 from the ashes of numerous punk/hardcore/indie bands including Typesetter, Little Teeth, and The Sky We Scrape. After quickly releasing a three-song EP, they supported heavy hitters like Local H, The Casket Lottery, Cherubs, Rid of Me, Kowloon Walled City, along with appearances at Gainesville’s legendary FEST in 2022 and 2023. Their full-length debut, Midnight Society, features 13 incendiary tracks of down-tuned punk/post-hardcore influenced noise rock replete with indelible hooks, sharp angular riffage, and a rhythm section that resonates with urgency.
